Applicant must be 16 years or older to complete a PRF. If, under the age of 16, a PRF must be completed by a parent/guardian (in their name) listing the applicant’s biographic information under description of issue.

How can I renew my existing passport?

If you already have a passport, that is not damaged, was issued in the past 15 years, was received after your 16th birthday, and has your same name, you can apply to renew your passport online or by mail.

I need my passport sooner, can I expedite it?

To request expedited processing, you must have international travel in the next 14 calendar days. For an additional fee, you can request expedited processing which typically take two weeks.

When planning international travel, U.S. citizens may be required to obtain a visa issued by the embassy of the country/countries they wish to visit. Find information on visa requirements by country here.
