Office of Congresswoman Dingell Confirms Death of Jeanne P. Dingell

The office of Congresswoman Debbie Dingell today confirmed the death this morning of Jeanne P. Dingell, the eldest daughter of former Congressman John D. Dingell and Helen Henebry Dingell. Jeanne passed away after a battle with lymphoma. The family released the following statement. “The family is saddened by the unexpected death this morning. Jeanne was a wife and mother, a daughter, sister and friend who was taken far too soon. She has been living in Poland and funeral arrangements are being determined. The family appreciates everyone’s friendship and support and asks for privacy during this difficult time.” Jeanne is survived by her husband, Romy Lagodka; two children Robin and Romy; as well as two brothers and a sister, John D. Dingell III, Christopher Dingell, and Jennifer Dingell; her mother and father. |
