Dingell, Tlaib Host Service Academy Nomination Information Session

Belleville, MI – Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-12) and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (MI-13) hosted a Military Service Academy Information Session in Belleville, MI to give high school students and their families an opportunity to meet veterans and service academy representatives. Dingell’s and Tlaib’s office provided information about the service academy nomination process. Photos from the event are available here. “Young people are our future and Southeast Michigan is home to many future leaders,” said Dingell. “Every student has their own unique story and skills. Providing students with the opportunity to hear directly from the services academies makes the process more open and approachable.” “We have incredibly talented youth in the 13th Congressional District. They need to know that they can lean on my office for help as they make a serious decision to join the military. I hope to provide them with information and support they need as they prepare for their future,” said Tlaib.
