Dingell Announces $10,000,000 in Grant Money for Southeast Michigan Community Alliance

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI) today announced the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA) in Taylor, Michigan received $10,000,000 from the Department of Labor. Included in the H-1B One Workforce Grant Program, the grant funding will be used to support training strategies and training delivery methods.

“We can’t rebuild our economy without rebuilding the workforce that powers it,” said Congresswoman Dingell. “With this grant funding from our federal government, Southeast Michigan Community Alliance will lead efforts in our community to train workers in industries critical to our country’s success like IT, advanced manufacturing, and transportation. As SEMCA builds innovative training strategies, I will support their efforts and the workers they empower.”
