Dingell Statement on First Ten Days of the Biden Administration

Highlights policies impacting Michigan’s 12th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI) today applauded the Biden Administration’s commitment to policies impacting the 12th Congressional District of Michigan within the first ten days after next week’s inauguration.

“Michigan helped deliver the White House to Joe Biden, and now the President-elect will deliver for Michigan,” said Congresswoman Dingell. “Whether pausing student loan debt, protecting homeowners and renters from foreclosure and eviction, rejecting the Muslim Ban, or rejoining the Paris Agreement, the Biden-Harris Administration will spend its first days in office by finally putting Michiganders and working Americans first. Beyond those critical efforts, they will begin to implement a nationwide COVID strategy, including a ‘100 Day Masking Challenge’, that will guide us as we overcome this deadly pandemic and rebuild this country. We have a lot of work to do, but with the bold leadership of a President truly committed to this country we can get the job done.”
