House Passed American Rescue Plan Last Week to Crush COVID-19 Virus, Get the Economy Moving with Shots in Arms, Money in Pockets, Children in Schools and People in Jobs

DEARBORN, MI – Representatives Debbie Dingell (MI-12), Sean Casten (IL-06), and Marie Newman (IL-03) will host a Zoom press conference Thursday, March, 4^th at 11 AM ET after voting to pass the American Rescue Plan in the House last week to help crush the COVID-19 virus and get the economy moving again with shots in arms, money in pockets, children in schools and people in jobs.

Dingell, Casten and Newman will highlight how the American Rescue Plan puts money in Midwesterners’ pockets, including $1,400 rescue checks for Americans that, following the $600 down payments enacted in December, would bring the total to $2,000 per person.
