Beyond his remarks, the images of scared, starving children and families fleeing their homes underscore the urgency we face in this moment. When President Putin launched an unprovoked war of choice, President Zelensky rallied his military and his citizens, and has led a fierce defense of his homeland while under brutal, inhumane assault. Today’s address made clear that the international community must provide more military and humanitarian support to bring an end to this war, bring relief to millions of suffering Ukrainians, and protect democracy around the world."
