Dingell Sworn in to 118th Congress, Representing New District

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-06) today released the following statement after being sworn in to represent Michigan's new 6th Congressional District for the 118th Congress.

“I am honored to continue to serve the communities I’ve known for my whole life and look forward to getting to know new neighborhoods and families across Michigan’s 6th district,” said Dingell. “This Congress, I’m getting right back to work on the issues that affect these communities, including bringing back good-paying jobs, getting pollutants like PFAS out of our water and environment, making our neighborhoods safer, and expanding access to health care and education. I will continue to put the people of Michigan first every day, and am committed to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to come up with solutions and deliver results for hard-working Michiganders. I look forward to hearing from all my constituents – new and old – at farmers markets, labor halls, festivals, parades, town halls, universities, public schools, senior centers, and everywhere in between, and promise that your feedback and concerns will always guide my work.”
