WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-06) today released the following statement on the news that Taylor Dudley, a Navy veteran from Lansing, was released from Russian custody. 

"I'm thankful Taylor Dudley has been reunited with his family and commend former Governor Bill Richardson and all those involved for their hard work to secure his release. It's always a success to bring an American home. In light of this news, I am reaffirming my commitment to the release of Paul Whelan, who has been wrongly imprisoned in Russia for more than four years, and reassure his family he will not be forgotten. I will continue to work alongside my colleagues in Congress, the Biden-Harris Administration, and everyone else working diligently to bring Paul home. The successful release of Dudley strengthens our resolve to get Paul home too."
