Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-06) released the following statement on Rep. Raúl Grijalva’s decision not to seek re-election as Ranking Member of the House Natural Resources Committee. 

“Congressman Raúl Grijalva has spent his whole tenure in Congress, including a decade as Ranking Member and Chair of the Natural Resources Committee, standing up for and defending underserved communities, and protecting our land, air, and water. Under his leadership, we have made historic investments to protect our climate, environment, and public lands, and improved the lives of millions of Americans by creating jobs, expanding access to clean and safe water, and delivering federal funds directly to the communities most in need. I’m thankful to Congressman Grijalva for his many years of leadership and service.”
