Dingell Announces $28 Million in HHS Grants for the University of Michigan
ANN ARBOR, Mich.,

Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-06) today announced that the University of Michigan will receive $28,871,680 in federal grant funding from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to conduct research in areas including cancer, oral diseases and disorders, aging, lung disease, pharmacology, physiology, and biological chemistry, and more. "This funding will support groundbreaking research at the University of Michigan, advancing research in critical areas such as skin, blood, oral, and heart diseases. cancer treatment, drug abuse and addiction, and more," said Dingell. "I am proud of the work that the University of Michigan continues to do to pave the way in cutting-edge research that matters, creating the best possible outcomes for patients."
