WJR: MI Rep. Debbie Dingell Slams Trump Over Gaza Crisis A Michigan Congresswoman is calling out President Donald Trump over the continued violence and man-made starvation of the people of Gaza committed by Israel. Israel’s bombardment and blockade of the Gaza Strip is approaching two years, leaving nearly 60,000 dead (though many more are expected to be dead or missing under the rubble), and at least 500,000 people are at risk of starvation. U.S. Rep Debbie Dingell (MI-6) told WJR, “They’re just trying to get food to live to be able to survive, and the (IDF) troops are firing on them as they go to get food. This is not a humanitarian situation. It is not what any of our religions teach us, if you are a member of a religion, but it’s not even what my atheist and (other) valued friends believe in. “We’re not going to be able to do anything. The only person Netanyahu is listening to at all in this country is President Trump, and President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio have to do something.“ PODCAST: July 22, 2025 ~ Michigan Congresswoman Debbie Dingell joins Chris Renwick, Lloyd Jackson, and Jamie Edmonds to express concern about the escalating violence and humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and calls for a truce to ensure the safety of Israelis. |
