Dingell Announces More Than $43.5 Million in HHS Grants for the University of Michigan
ANN ARBOR, Mich.,

Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-06) today announced that the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor will receive $43,576,094 in federal grant funding from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to support a wide range of research initiatives, including aging, diabetes, neurological disorders, cancer, and more. “This funding is essential to maintaining the University of Michigan’s leadership in research and innovation. It supports researchers with the federal backing necessary to advance their groundbreaking work,” said Dingell. “Moreover, these grants represent a meaningful investment in the health, safety, and well-being of our broader community.
