It will promote the health and wellbeing of eastern Washtenaw County residents, especially our young people, through healthy living programming, indoor and outdoor recreation activities, and youth development and social responsibility programming. It is crucial that we focus our attention on the development of the children in our community and this building will provide them with a safe place to go, a place to attend after-, summer-, and out-of-school programming, to interact with other kids, with opportunities to connect with mentors and gain access to resources for success.
