Today, Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-12) released the following statement after the Trump Administration ordered the closure of the Washington, DC office of the Palestine Liberation Organization:

“Closing the Palestinian Office in Washington will make it harder to engage diplomatically and further erode prospects for a lasting peace in the Middle East. The US must be an honest broker between the Palestinians and Israelis. Closing the PLO office, along with designating Jerusalem as the capital and cutting aid to Palestinian refugees, raises tensions and will make it more difficult to address the root causes of the conflict as a result.”
