Dingell, Tlaib Kayak Detroit River to Highlight Public Lands & Waters Open to All

BROWNSTOWN CHARTER TOWNSHIP, MI – This weekend, Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI) and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) kayaked the Detroit River during Michigan Trails Week and National Public Lands Day. The representatives launched from Lake Erie Metropark and emphasized the importance of public lands, especially during the pandemic. Saw ducks, critical habitat – and of course sang some too,” said Dingell. “During COVID, everyone deserves the opportunity to be a tourist in their own community.
