DINGELL: WE MUST PROTECT OUR DEMOCRACY

DPCC Co-Chair Appeared on MSNBC to Discuss Support for Invoking the 25th Amendment

WASHINGTON, D.C. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-12), Co-Chair of the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee (DPCC) appeared on Way Too Early with Kasie Hunt on MSNBC today to discuss the duty of Congress to hold the President accountable after the Capitol breach.

“I think that the real question is – I will be frank and very honest – how do we minimize any further damage for the remaining days in this administration? And what you saw in the Capitol is one of the consequences, but there are a lot of other things that can happen,” said Dingell. “And that we all – and I’m going to say this to my Republican colleagues, the members of the cabinet, and to Vice President Pence – you have a responsibility to this country to make sure there is no further damage to this democracy.”
