WASHINGTON, DC – Continuing a decades long Dingell holiday tradition, Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI) today released the 2020 edition of the annual Dingell Jingle, set to the tune of “Let it Snow”.

The mood on Capitol Hill is frightful
But my colleagues are so delightful
And since we can’t hang in the cloakroom

While the country is awaiting
And we have to stop the closings
But we have to address the nation’s gloom

When we finally stop these fights
And don’t let that be the norm
But we really can do this right
Maybe we can make this the new form.
While a few are still denying
And, we are really trying,
We need to let people know,

Oh! It doesn't show signs of ending
And We cannot be failing
We cannot let Government shutdowns loom

The holidays are here, too many with fear
