Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI), co-chair of the Congressional 5G and Beyond Caucus, today reintroduced the Promoting United States Wireless Leadership Act of 2025 with U.S. Representatives Tom Kean Jr. (NJ-07), Tim Walberg (MI-05) and Yvette Clarke (NY-09). This bipartisan bill will bolster America's leadership in the development of wireless standards by bringing key leaders and stakeholders together to create a unified approach in international wireless standards-setting bodies for 5G networks and for future generations of wireless communications networks. 

“The policy choices of today will have lasting effects on the global wireless technology development of tomorrow — especially as we compete against China," said Rep. Dingell. "We must take concrete, proactive steps to lower barriers to entry for U.S. companies and promote American competitiveness in this space for each subsequent generation of these innovative technologies. As a co-chair of the 5G and Beyond Caucus, I am proud to have reintroduced the bipartisan Promoting United States Wireless Leadership Act to ensure the United States remains at the forefront of innovation.”
