Programmatic and Language Requests
Every Fiscal Year (FY), Congress appropriates funding for most of the functions of the federal government. There are 12 separate appropriations bills, each written by a subcommittee with jurisdiction over specific agencies. During the appropriations process, lawmakers have the opportunity to submit requests to the respective subcommittees expressing support for authorized programs, bill/report language, and specific funding levels.
- Please submit a SEPARATE form for each request.
- Requests using this form must be for general program funding support or language ONLY.
- This form is NOT for district-specific Community Project Funding Requests (“Earmarks”).

Community Project Funding Request
The Community Project Funding (CPF) process is the mechanism through which Members of Congress may direct funding to district-specific initiatives. These forms will be made available at a later date.
